Xu Zhongmin
Born in 1961, Zhongmin is one of the most prolific contemporary Chinese artists today. After graduating from the prestigious Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, he chaired the Ba Di Cao Arts Society which was disbanded in 1989. That same year he moved to Beijing, where he immersed himself in the thriving art scene and participated in many exhibitions.
He moved to England in 1992 where he has settled since and has exhibited in Europe, China, Japan and South Africa. It is his outstanding woodcut prints that have been most widely embraced by the public and exhibitors alike.
