Elisabeth Lalouschek

Born in Vienna in 1955, Lalouschek studied art at the Royal College of Art in London. Between 1983 and 1997, she had studios in London, Paris, Vienna and Mexico and exhibited extensively in UK, Mexico and the USA. Currently she is the Artistic Director of the October Gallery. Her abstract paintings are vibrant poetic statements.

Lalouschek has won numerous awards including the David Murray Landscape Award, Austin State Scholarship, British Council Scholarship, George Rowney Bicentennial Special Award, Paris Scholarship and the Elizabeth Greenshield Award.
