Transvangarde Now 2011

October Gallery is the first gallery in the UK to promote the trans-cultural avant-garde, and represents acclaimed artists from around the world. ‘Transvangarde Now’, will exhibit works from Japan, China, North America, Africa and the Middle East. This spring exhibition is a truly international look at art for a new decade.

Nnenna Okore: Metamorphoses

Artist Nnenna Okore returns to October Gallery, London for her second solo exhibition.

Following the success of her London debut solo show Ulukububa: Infinite Flow in 2008, Okore continues to employ ordinary media like magazine and newspaper to highlight consumerism and excessive wastefulness in today’s society.
