| El Anatsui's unconventional tool, the powersaw, and his use of fire to scorch and shape wood marks him as one of Africa's most innovative of contemporary artists. Considered as one of the most important sculptors of his generation this exhibition of his reliefs, sculptures and installations was his first solo show in the UK. |
